About Racca
Racca has had a camera in his hands since he was 8 years old. He started learning photography by emulating the photographers whose images he enjoyed. Once in High School he began his formal instruction in his 9th grade year. During this time he was invited to participate in a Photography competition and seminar held in Austin, Tx. at the University of Texas. Where he was awarded first place in the Black and White print competition. Racca continued his photographic education all four years in High School, learning how to properly expose, develope and print 35mm and Medium Format film.
Racca then joined the U.S. Navy and circumnavigated the globe twice visiting and photographing many countries. Currently he is attending the world's leading photographic school, Hallmark Institute of Photography. Upon graduation from Hallmark, Racca will be relocating to Austin, Tx. to open a studio and begin photographing people in the area surrounding Austin and Eastern Texas.
